This presentation focuses on dealing with search orders and doorstep delivery up orders from the perspectives of claimants, defendants and supervising solicitors and the practical questions that arise before, during and after the execution of a search order from a digital perspective including:
- The drafting of the order to ensure you maximise the recovery of relevant data;
- Using technology to identify missing data and devices and therefore evidence possible contempt of the order;
- Ensuring that the subsequent analysis of recovered data utilises intelligent technology and search methodologies so the “golden nuggets” are found and cost effectively; and
- The practical issues that can arise during a search re imaging large volumes of data and preservation and investigation of digital evidence.
